Fresher’s Pub Crawl – Friday 14th September
Our first social of the season is a pub crawl for freshers (and anyone else) to come along and get to know the curling club. It’s a great opportunity to meet current and new members of the club, and hopefully will be the start of a busy calendar of events. We’ll meet at Teviot at 8.30pm then head out to some of the Old Town’s pubs. It doesn’t matter if you’re an experienced curler, or have never been on the ice before – you’re more than welcome to join us!
Come and Try Session
We will be holding a ‘come and try’ session on Wednesday the 19th September from 3-5pm at Murrayfield Curling. If you’ve never tried curling before this is the perfect opportunity for you to give it a go. All equipment is provided – just wear warm, loose clothing (not jeans) and clean indoor trainers.
To get to the ice centre you can take the number 31 bus (Lothian Buses) from Nicholson Street just after 2pm (this’ll drop you about 3 minutes’ walk from the rink). If you are unsure of anything or want to find out more about curling see the ‘contact us’ section.
